Peter Krauss graduated both Oberlin Conservatory and Julliard Music School. He studied under Bronson Ragan and is a virtuoso classical pianist and organist who composes in the Eastern European style.

Peter received the 2004-2005 Individual Artist's Fellowship Grant in Music Composition presented by the Dutchess County Council of the Arts.
